KICKOFF is an annual event for students, faculty, staff and alumni.  It welcomes students to campus and celebrates the start of the academic year.  For students, it is an opportunity for us to say welcome to new students and welcome back to returning students.  For faculty and staff, it is a chance for everyone to celebrate their role in the student experience and enjoy the new energy that comes from everyone returning to campus.  For alumni, it is an opportunity to reconnect with their university and to meet future alumni.  For everyone, it is a celebration of the start to the 2008/2009 year on campus.

KICKOFF 2008 is 3-day event and will be held on:

	Friday, September 5 Concert – Free Tuition Draw courtesy of the U of C Alumni Association
	Friday, September 12 BBQ and entertainment to launch Red Fridays 2008
	Saturday, September 13 Tailgate and Dinos vs U of A Golden Bears football game at McMahon Stadium

KICKOFF 2008 is a partnership between the U of C’s Student and Enrolment Services, External Relations, Development, Alumni Association, Dinos Athletics, the Faculties, and the Students’ Union.
