Tuition Draw - Rules and Regulations  

 Alumni Association Free Tuitions (2 Prizes of $2,500)

 1. Eligibility: No purchase necessary to enter or win. Draws are open to U of C undergraduates and graduate students. Members of the University of Calgary Alumni Association Board of Directors and their immediate family members, (parent, child, sibling, or spouse) of each such members are not eligible. Draw closes September 5 & 13, 2008.
 2. Entry: The first draw begins at 2 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (“MST”) on September 5, 2008 and ends at 4:00 p.m. MST September 5, 2008. The second draw begins at 11:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (“MST”) on September 13, 2008 and ends at 1:00 p.m. MST September 13, 2008.  Limit of one entry per person. The University of Calgary Alumni Association is not responsible for any lost, late, delayed, illegible, incomplete, mutilated, or misdirected entries. No facsimiles or mechanical reproductions of entries will be permitted. All entries become the property of the University of Calgary alumni Association, and will not be returned. Your entry will be disqualified if you (i) provide information that is incomplete, inaccurate or fraudulent: or (ii) fail to comply or circumvent the terms and conditions of these Official Rules.
 3. Drawing: One (1) entry will be selected in Calgary, Alberta, in a random draws to be held on September 5 & 13, 2008 from among all eligible entries received. Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The anticipated chance of winning is between one in one thousand (1 in 1,000) and one in two thousand (1 in 2,000). The selected entrant will be announced at the event and must agree to accept the prize as set forth below, and will be required to sign a declaration of eligibility / compliance with the rules and a publicity/liability release or the entrant will be disqualified. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted for any reason, or is unwilling or unable to comply with these rules, the prize will be forfeited and another entry will be selected. Upon receipt of properly executed declaration and release forms and verification of full compliance with these rules by independent judging organization, the entrant will be declared the winner. The winner grants the University of Calgary Alumni Association permission to announce their name as the winner and use the name, photograph or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
 4. Prize: There are two (2) grand prizes eligible to be won, consisting of $2,500 toward tuition. The total retail value of each prize package is approximately $2,500CND. The University of Calgary Alumni Association reserves the right to substitute any element of the prize with a prize of equal or greater value due to unavailability for any reason. Prize package has no cash value and no cash redemption. Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant will be required to correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time limited skill testing to be administered in person.
 5. No communication will be made to any entrants except with the entrant whose entry is drawn. All entries become the property of the University of Calgary Alumni Association and none will be returned.
 6. This draw is subject to Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations.
